The Batrachomyomachia or Battle of the Frogs and Mice is a comic epic, or a parody of the Iliad, commonly attributed to Homer. The march of the percussion suggests the image of each side marching into battle. The plucked strings and siren-like vocals suggest the atmosphere of the imagination of the ancient world. Produced by Matthew Leigh Embleton. Commissioned by Rob Cain for the Ancient Rome Refocused Podcast (http://www.ancientromerefocused.org)
